We have had 2 holiday concerts. Ryan's 3rd grade class put on a great 50's style concert, filled with singing and dancing. Ok so he doesn't look so thrilled but it was so cute!
Justin plays the trumpet in 6th grade. My dad would be so proud. The 6th grade band put on a concert for all the parents. They sounded great! Justin even said "I was surprised at how good we sounded!"
Not too much of a ham!!

Decorating....
Last weekend we went out and picked the perfect tree, tied it to the car and were on our way. Nick and Don seem to be getting better each year with this.
For me now the fun begins with decorating the tree and house...Christmas music, hot chocolate (even though it has been in the 60's and 70's here!).
Ok so it is a little lopsided but it looks pretty!

Snow in Dixie?!
This weekend proved to be so much fun and Justin and Ryan got to see snow? Well not really but it was still fun, it was a snow machine with bubbles coming out. Saturday morning we went to Sun City to watch the golf cart parade, retired people really know how to live! Santa was in the last golf cart. Ryan and Grandma Bailey went to have lunch with Santa. Justin and I enjoyed a walk on this beautiful spring, I mean fall day. The weather here has been in the high 60s and yesterday it was 74 degrees, you wont hear me complain!!
Then we made a dash to the Sandy Ridge Elementary School WinterFest. This includes games, cotton candy, bounce houses, gingerbread houses, silent auction, cake walk...it is always the big event each year. We didn't win the cake walk but had fun trying. They both had fun hanging out with their friends.
Then off to church, dropped off our Angel Tree gift, thanked God for all we have and each other. And finally dinner with all my boys, Don, Nick, Justin and Ryan. We settled at home to watch Elf.
